Kwanzaa Club is important for Black/African-American students, their families, and school faculty. This after-school club can lead to better academic performance as a direct result of identity development, self-actualization, and self-confidence. We cultivate a sense of belonging linked to higher levels of student emotional and physical well-being, better academic performance, and improved overall achievement.
