About Us

Kinara Park Kids® was created to give children a place to see themselves, feel connected, and grow into who they are meant to be.
Rooted in the Nguzo Saba—the seven principles of Kwanzaa—Kinara Park Kids® brings these values to life through a community of friends: Umoja, Kujichagulia (KG), Ujima, Ujamaa, Nia, Kuumba, and Imani. Each character represents a principle—unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith—guiding children through story, play, and shared experience.
At Kinara Park Kids®, children don’t just learn these principles—they live them. Through storytelling and imaginative play, they learn that who they are matters, how they relate to others matters, and what they contribute matters.
Kinara Park Kids® creates books, toys, apparel, and learning experiences designed for children, families, educators, and communities. Our work also extends into classrooms and community spaces, where children build confidence, strengthen their sense of identity, and develop the social and emotional skills needed to navigate relationships, express themselves, and understand their role in community.
Our products are created for all children, with a deep commitment to ensuring that Black children—and all children—can see themselves reflected in what they learn, what they play with, and what they imagine for their future.
Kinara Park Kids® is more than a product line—it is a growing world of learning, creativity, and connection. From books and toys to media and classroom experiences, we are building an ecosystem where children can make new friends, explore their identity, and develop a strong sense of purpose.
We believe children grow best in community—where they are seen, supported, and inspired. Through Kinara Park Kids®, we are nurturing the next generation to be confident, connected, and grounded in who they are.
Welcome to Kinara Park Kids®—a world of story, play, and possibility.
